Parkinson's Program FAQs

If you or someone you love is living with Parkinson’s disease, you may have come across Remepy. This page explains who we are, what we are working on, and where things stand. If you have any more questions, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to assist in any way we can.

What is Remepy?

Remepy is pioneering Hybrid Drugs™, a new class of medicine designed to combine pharmaceutical drugs with app-delivered, AI-driven digital protocols. We are redefining medicine at the intersection of biology, behavior, and technology. We are a team of scientists, technologists, physicians, and creators driven by one belief: the future of medicine is multidimensional. Our Hybrid Drugs are in development and not approved by the FDA.

‍

What are you developing for Parkinson’s?

A Hybrid Drug for Parkinson’s disease that combines immediate-release levodopa/carbidopa with an app-delivered digital protocol.

The Hybrid Drug is currently investigational and being studied in clinical research. Our Phase III trial begins in the coming months.

What is a Hybrid Drug?

A Hybrid Drug brings together a pharmaceutical drug and a therapeutic protocol delivered through an app. The two are studied together as a single treatment, and reviewed by regulators as one drug that is aimed to be prescribed in a single prescription.

‍

Is it a medication, an app, or both?

Both, combined together - and that is the point. The digital protocol is developed as one part of the treatment, and coupled with the existing levodopa/carbidopa. Both are studied together as one treatment, rather than separately.

Who is behind Remepy?

Remepy is a Hybrid Drug company. Our team has many decades of experience and includes scientists, physicians, technologists, and clinical researchers.

In April 2026 we announced a collaboration with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, to explore Hybrid Drug development in various therapeutic areas.

How is this different from a Parkinson’s app I could download today?

Apps you can download sit alongside your medication. You choose them, nobody prescribes them, and their effect hasn’t been tested together with the medication you take.

Our Hybrid Drug for Parkinson’s disease is different. The medication and the protocol will be studied together in clinical research, and reviewed by regulators as one treatment.

Can I get it? Can my neurologist prescribe it?

Not yet. It is investigational, which means it is still in clinical research. You can join our community to hear about our trials and get updates.

What stage is it at?

Phase IIa clinical trial for our Parkinson's program showed promising findings. We are currently preparing for a Phase III clinical trial. If you want to hear more, you can join our community newsletter here.

When might it be available?

A treatment becomes available only after a Phase III trial is completed and regulators review and approve the results. You can join our community to stay updated.

Are you planning a trial, and where?

Yes. We are preparing for a Phase III clinical trial in the United States and Israel, expected to begin in the coming months. We recommend to join our community newsletter and receive updates. (Joining the community is not an application, and it does not enroll you in the trial.)

Can I participate in the trial?

Phase IIa clinical trial for our Parkinson's program showed promising findings. We are currently preparing for a Phase III clinical trial. If you want to hear more, you can join our community newsletter here.

Is joining the community the same as joining the trial?

No. Joining the community is not an application, and it does not enroll you in the trial.

Our community is a mailing list for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and the professionals who work with them — and it is also where we will provide updates about our trials and other news.

What do you do with my details?

We use them to send you what you signed up for – information and webinars about Parkinson’s, Remepy and our trials. We do not sell or share your information. Our Privacy Statement sets out what we collect and how it is handled.

Is there anything for caregivers?

Yes. Caregivers are a major part in the Parkinson’s journey. We view you as part of the community, and the webinars are made with caregivers in mind as well. If you are caring for someone with Parkinson’s, you are welcome here.
